Traffic Coordinator – Imports to Mexico

Laredo BSL Inc. is seeking a Traffic Coordinator with experience in international trade operations and logistics coordination, specializing in import operations to Mexico and customer service.

We are looking for an organized, proactive professional with strong communication skills who can efficiently coordinate Mexico import crossings, customs documentation, and transportation activities while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of processes related to imports into Mexico.
  • Working knowledge of customs platforms and concepts, including:
  • COVE
  • DODA
  • PITA
  • Electronic Documents (e-Documents)
  • SED (EEI)
  • Manifestación de Valor Electrónica (MVE)
  • Ability to read and interpret Mexican customs entries (Pedimentos).
  • Experience coordinating cross-border shipments and transfer operations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Experience coordinating freight and transportation services.
  • General knowledge of:
  • Mexican tariff classifications (Fracciones Arancelarias)
  • Import regulations
  • Applicable Mexican Official Standards (NOMs)
  • SADER (SAGARPA)
  • Aviso automáticos
  • Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with customers, carriers, customs brokers, and government agencies in the United States and Mexico.
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM
  • 1 hour lunch break
  • Occasionally, this position may require working after regular business hours, after 6 pm and on Saturdays, depending on the operational needs of the company.
