Job Summary

As a Transportation Coordinator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our patients throughout their treatment journey, from initial pickup to discharge. This includes individual or group trips to central locations for appointments, meetings, and outings. The role requires a flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs 365 days a year, including nights and weekends.

Priority Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in all weather conditions.
  • Pick up and drop off patients at airports or other designated locations; trips may require up to 10 continuous hours round trip.
  • Navigate routes effectively and reroute as necessary due to unexpected circumstances.
  • Transport clients during treatment to various locations based on program, clinical, or medical requirements.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform accurate daily inspections, and keep detailed patient transportation logs.
  • Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with patients; utilize de-escalation tactics as needed.
  • Ensure all safety regulations are met and vehicles are equipped with required safety kits.
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to provide updates regarding patient status and transportation.
  • Complete all required trainings and assessments as assigned.
  • Embody company values by fostering a growth mindset, demonstrating integrity, setting high standards, and collaborating effectively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years; no DUIs or reckless driving charges in the last seven years.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of driving experience preferred.
  • First Aid/CPR certification required at time of hire.
  • Must be at least 25 years of age.
  • Ability to operate a smartphone to send mobile email updates.
  • Must be insurable under company vehicle liability insurance.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret written information.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Maintain courteous and professional behavior and appearance.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high energy.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including on-call, nights, and weekends.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for long periods (5+ consecutive hours).
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
