PTS Advance is seeking a highly experienced Material Coordinator to support a long-term project in Laredo, TX. This role is responsible for the coordination, control, and tracking of materials for a large-scale energy project with over $2 million in inventory. The ideal candidate will bring extensive material management experience and the ability to maintain accuracy, accountability, and efficiency throughout the life of the project.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all material coordination activities including receiving, issuing, storage, tracking, and inventory control
- Maintain accurate material records, logs, and documentation for high-value inventory
- Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and safeguarded to prevent loss, damage, or shortages
- Coordinate closely with procurement, project management, warehouse, and field teams to ensure materials are available when needed
- Monitor material usage and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records
- Prepare material reports, forecasts, and inventory status updates as required
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance requirements related to material management
- Adhere to all site safety, quality, and company procedures
- Extensive experience as a Material Coordinator or in material management on large-scale projects
- Proven experience managing high-dollar inventory (minimum $1M+; $2M+ preferred)
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience working on energy, utility, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred
- Proficiency with inventory tracking systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to work onsite in Laredo, TX for the full duration of the project
- Background supporting long-term capital or energy infrastructure projects
- Experience coordinating materials across multiple work crews or disciplines
- Familiarity with material audits and inventory reconciliation processes
Must be authorized to work in The United States.
