Building & Grounds Custodian

This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for performing custodial, groundskeeper, and facility maintenance duties on building and grounds to provide a safe and clean environment for staff.

• Perform general housekeeping including cleaning, vacuum, sweep, and sanitation of building daily (floors, restrooms, grounds, common areas).
• Process trash removal and corrugated scraps with a compactor.
• Check and secure building at beginning and end of shift to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Clear snow from entrances and walkways, and spread sand and ice melting chemicals.
• Maintain equipment in functional condition.
• Perform minor maintenance on the building, fixtures and furnishings.
• Inspect facilities and conduct minor maintenance work such as plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting, mechanical, pressure washing or related work as assigned.

$13.50 - $18.25 Hourly. Actual salary varies based on location, education, experience and skills. Medline will not pay less than applicable minimum wage.
