Job ResponsibilitiesSupport procedural activities and information flows and continually assess the efficiency and costs of warehouse processes. Ensure all activities support Clarios goals and initiatives. Ensure standardization of reviewing/updating procedures to support compliance and assist management of all warehouse services for all internal and external customers.
Maintain strong relationship between the warehouse, plant, Clarios Customer Service, and corporate Commercial Team.
Develop limited but effective daily reporting processes between warehouse operation and Clarios plant.
Lead development and implementation of cost reduction projects.
Work with Finance and Procurement to lead development and rollout of Clarios standard network wide warehouse metrics.
Review metrics with provider and support improvement efforts.
Support third-party warehouse provider attainment of 98% on-time shipment goal.
Monitor warehouse on-hand inventory, prepare and streamline Monthly Inventory report, and develop structured communication processes for inventory replenishment.
Manage Clarios approved cycle count processes and ensure accurate inventory adjustments.
Ensure implementation and improvement of proper FEFO (First Expired First Out) procedures in support of customer requirements and scrap reduction.
Direct disposition of obsolete and surplus materials in an environmentally safe manner.
Execute VDP 866 EDI updates and lead development of an automated process.
Manage out-of-scope warehouse operations, including product decoration and boxing.
Work with Clarios Border Operations team to increase visibility of inbound shipments and reduce average transit time from Clarios plant.
Through improved processes, manage reception of vendor supplied materials to ensure accurate on-hand inventory and on-time invoice payments.
Develop improved quality control processes for product inspection and warehouse operations.
Support and ensure successful new product launches.
