Position

Branch Manager – Laredo, TX (Retail shop)

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily store operations to achieve or advance sales and margin goals.
  • Promote sales, provide excellent customer service, and ensure inventory levels are maintained.
  • Balance expenses through purchase support and manage cash flow, including daily financial transaction processing.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards, including housekeeping.
  • Lead training for inside sales associates on product knowledge and company policies.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews and provide performance mentorship.
  • Act as a bridge between employees and management, collaborating with HR.
  • Support the outside sales team in nurturing existing client relationships and welcoming new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate back‑order, open‑order, and purchase‑order reports and refine inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of management experience.
  • Bi‑lingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety documents, MSDS, and operational guidelines.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with diverse groups.
  • Excellent organizational, detail‑oriented, and fast‑paced work capability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and distribution of industrial gases or comparable products.
  • Background in retail sales and customer service.
  • Knowledge of welding applications and equipment.
