About this Opportunity

Our team in Laredo is actively looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team! This role encompasses responsibilities such as overseeing inventory management, supervising personnel, coordinating shipments, and maintaining streamlined operations within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the receiving, storing, and organizing of inventory within the warehouse.
  • Implement inventory control measures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular audits to monitor inventory levels and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and efficiency.
  • Foster a positive work environment and resolve any personnel issues or conflicts as they arise.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and workflows to optimize productivity.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and shipping, to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor product quality and condition and take appropriate actions to address any issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address quality-related issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Analyze warehouse performance metrics, such as productivity, accuracy, and throughput.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to management on key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse performance and achieve operational goals.
  • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and hazard‑free work environment.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential risks or violations promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Maintain warehouse to fulfill CTPAT regulations and requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on prioritization and multitasking.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Forklift certification and other relevant certifications (preferred).
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of AS400 (preferred).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar management role.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
Schedule and Compensation

Monday – Friday, 7:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. Pay will depend on experience.
