Clinical Unit Manager

The Clinical Unit Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of their unit. The Clinical Unit Manager must effectively provide timely, safe, compassionate care for all patients of their unit.
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversees that all staff members carry out their duties safely, timely, compassionately and efficiently including providing patient care directly as necessary.
- Directly communicates with physicians and other members of management to resolve conflict or other issues quickly and effectively.
- Responsible for timely evaluation, coaching, educating and counseling of all staff members.
- Responsible for maintaining a risk free environment on their unit as well as ongoing performance improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Texas RN License
- Previous charge or supervisory experience
- Previous management experience preferred
- BLS/ACLS
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
