Job SummaryIn addition to the responsibilities outlined below, the Associate Veterinarian is an invaluable member of the hospital team who works directly with a Managing Doctor and supports the medical staff. This individual advances the quality of medicine in the practice and provides exceptional client service to our clients and patients.
Job Responsibilities- Build rapport with clients by listening to their concerns.
- Perform high‑quality examinations and procedures while minimizing patient stress.
- Communicate with clients about pet diagnosis, treatment plans, and health care.
- Maintain accurate medical and surgical records and logs.
- Stay updated on new veterinary information and practices.
- Assist in developing the paraprofessional team for quality care and service.
- Promote a positive image of the hospital to the community.
- Graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG or PAVE certification program.
- DVM Licensure in good standing to practice in Texas.
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary code of ethics.
