We are looking for team members that enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Luby's is known for its made‑from‑scratch menu. Working at Luby's as a Cook or in Food Production, you will acquire great culinary skills. Luby's offers positions as a Range Cook, Grill Cook, Fry Cook, Butcher, Salad & Vegetable Prep, and Pastry Prep. In this role you will receive and stock inventory, prepare, cook and assemble orders, keep the kitchen clean and organized, and maintain food safety and quality standards by following standard operating procedures.

• Previous experience is preferred, but is not required—training will be provided.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read and follow recipes to maintain consistency and high‑quality menu items.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Open to varied work schedules and hours depending on the restaurant’s needs.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be a team player.
• Will need to be certified on specific equipment such as a Band Saw, Buffalo Chopper, Meat Tenderizer, Mixer, and Potato Peeler after hiring.
