Role

Summary:

The Store Support Teammate is responsible for creating the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our guests, while completing a variety of sales support tasks assigned by the Store Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
• Work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and the day of or day after Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• Complete guest transactions using Point of Sale (POS) software and bag purchases.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, payment and exchange policies, and security practices.
• Recognize and address security risks and thefts to prevent or handle situations.
• Assist the Operations Manager and/or Visual Merchandiser with merchandising tasks such as preparing displays (no higher than ten feet), organizing fixtures and shelving, completing price markdowns, and transfers.
• Continuously maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable store to meet Buckle’s mission statement.
• Understand and apply Buckle’s Code of Ethics and all policies, procedures, and handbooks.
• Perform duties with high Guest service and contribute to a positive team spirit.
• Complete any special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

No prior experience or training required.

Physical Demands

Regularly stand, walk, use hands to handle items, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. Occasional sitting. Required to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Noise level usually moderate.
