Position:
Large Format Presell Sales Representative (PBUS)
- Professional sales role responsible for growing business in assigned large accounts such as supermarkets and mass merchants.
- Generate sales using data, trends, and fact‑based selling; order products for delivery and merchandising.
- Drive incremental selling opportunities, volume, revenue share, and profit growth by managing communications with store owners and managers.
- Influence and lead collaboration with a Pod of Merchandisers and lead daily Pod meetings.
- Manage all aspects of sales execution in large format accounts, including upselling, writing new orders, and inventory management.
- Conduct business reviews, build relationships, identify opportunities, develop sales strategy, and ensure exceptional customer service.
- Support and collaborate with Merchandisers on customer service excellence, display execution, and inventory management.
- Communicate display needs for large format accounts to Merchandisers so they can prepare product display builds and inventory management.
- Build tailored approaches to each store, cultivating strong relationships with customers, local selling opportunities, and executing marketplace initiatives and promotions.
- Collaborate with Territory Sales Leaders, Large Format Sales District Leaders and Merchandisers, and interact with Key Account Managers to target incremental selling opportunities and drive Key Performance Metrics (Revenue, Volume, Share, Waste, Profit).
- Maintain high levels of customer service by communicating with cross‑functional teams (delivery and warehouse).
- Confirm product availability, rotation, and appropriate pricing.
- Learn new technologies (e.g., Power
BI), products, and selling skills to grow accounts and create efficiencies. - Support Pepsi's strong safety culture by adhering to all safety standards and procedures.
- Be flexible and available to work a schedule that includes early mornings and may include evenings.
- Periodically lift up to 40 lbs. while performing work activities and handle product cases using a pallet jack as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Must have a car to access multi‑store locations within assigned shift
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
Helpful Experience
- Experience in sales/selling (new products, promotions, new points of distribution, deals, pricing).
- Experience with business‑to‑business selling (building relationships, handling customer complaints).
- Experience with incremental selling (upselling, suggestive selling).
- Experience managing a route (prioritizing stops, setting a schedule, servicing accounts).
- Experience managing inventory (current stock, projected sales, ordering/re‑stocking).
- Experience with merchandising (standards, planograms, product displays, stocking/rotating product, back‑room organization).
- Experience with technology applications (mobile technology, apps).
- Experience in customer service (resolving customer issues, communication with store managers, following up on customer requests).
