Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site‑specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and following Allied Universal protocols for entry and exit at the location.
- Monitor gates, entrance points, and restricted areas to help support authorized access, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report unusual or suspicious security‑related conditions.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following post orders and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help identify security‑related concerns, access issues, and/or operational disruptions common to a logistics and distribution location.
- Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
- Have a state, county, or city‑issued security license (preferred).
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- Be able to lift up to 20 lbs (preferred).
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
