Job Overview

Primoris Heavy Civil is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing team in heavy highway construction. You will operate excavators, dozers, loaders, motor graders, backhoes and compactors safely and efficiently.

• Perform equipment inspections and daily maintenance such as greasing/lubing.
• Previous experience operating construction equipment or related industrial machinery.
• Experience in a labor‑intensive position and working outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to work independently and in a team‑oriented, safety‑focused environment.
• Mechanical inclination is an asset.

• Climb ladders, use stationary platforms at elevated heights.
• Hear and distinguish emergency signals while on duty.
• Repeatedly sit, lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl.
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Work outdoors for extended periods in all elements.
• Capable of extended hours and variable shifts.

• Location:
  
  industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shop.
• Mobility barriers: uneven ground, obstructed pathways, work at low/high elevations, confined areas.
• Environmental conditions:
  
  predominantly outdoor, potential extreme hot or cold, excessive humidity or rain, noise from tools and machinery, potential exposure to chemicals.
