Low Voltage Technician – Structured Cabling (Laredo, TX)
Compensation: $18–$25 per hour, weekly pay, and benefits.
Responsibilities- Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT6/6A cable.
- Test installed cable with Fluke or similar testers.
- Punch down voice and data jacks.
- Install racks, patch panels, cable trays, cabinets, MDF/IDF, etc.
- Work safely on ladders or lifts (comfortable with heights).
- Read and interpret blueprints and system layouts.
- Install or support access control, CCTV, audio visual, and fiber optic systems (plus).
- 3+ years of commercial/industrial low voltage experience.
- Experience with structured cabling, voice/data, or security systems preferred.
- BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus.
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi‑vis vest, steel‑toe boots).
- Working knowledge of telecom/data networks.
- Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed.
- Weekly pay with no waiting.
