Job Overview
Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator for Monday-Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with some Saturdays. This is a direct hire position that includes benefits and PTO from day one.
Responsibilities- Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers in loading and unloading trucks.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Handle materials involving picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, and other related duties.
- Ensure timeliness, packaging, and system work are completed accurately.
- Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
- Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment in accordance with TSA and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Forklift experience; previous forklift certifications preferred.
- Experience using an RF scan gun is required.
- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends.
- Strong reading and comprehension of work instructions.
- Ability to work well with others and with little supervision.
- Attention to detail and ability to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred (1 year).
- Must stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend, lift objects above head; lift/move up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Monday through Friday; occasional Saturdays.

Hourly rate: $18.00 - $19.00 (starting salary range; may be adjusted based on market conditions).
