As an
Ambassador for Airgas
, the Service & Delivery Professional
takes pride in
the safe and reliable delivery of compressed gas cylinders to our local and regional business partners. Operating from an Airgas branch or plant location using a company-provided straight or box truck, you will
manage the flow
of cylinders while
building lasting relationships
with the customers you visit.

As a Service & Delivery Professional at Airgas, you will be part of a
supportive
professional team that encourages your personal growth and internal mobility, while ensuring you have the work/life balance you need to thrive.

• Cylinder Handling
  :
  
  Safely load, deliver, and unload cylinders containing compressed gases to both external and internal customer locations.

• Record Keeping:Accurately record deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest, obtaining customer signatures for receipt. Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.

• Safety and Compliance
  :
  
  Adhere to all Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and government regulations, including those from DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA.

• Warehouse Support:Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.

A Day in the Life of an Airgas Delivery Driver:

Are you a MATCH?

• Valid TX Class A Commercial Driver's License.

• Valid Medical Examiner's Card.

• Hazmat & Airbrake Certifications are required.

• We are looking for one (1) year of prior Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five (5) years and a commitment to road safety to include no more than two (2) convictions, OR two (2) at‑fault accidents in the last three years; OR no more than a combination of one (1) conviction and one (1) at‑fault accident in the last three years.

• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.

• Candidates must be at least 21 years or older.

• Proficiency in navigating and comprehending material safety data sheets.

• Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 125 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment.
