Warehouse Worker - Second Shift

• Schedule:
  
  Monday to Friday 3:00 pm – 12:00 am (weekends/holidays as required)
• Base rate: $21.63 per hour

• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
• Stack and secure picked product for shipping
• Select and process multiple orders at a time
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Comply with all safety requirements
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Perform quality control checks
• Identify and remove damaged products received
• Communicate with associates from other shifts
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with information
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material/equipment needs
• Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions; bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Ability to work independently, provide customer service, multitask, organize, be flexible, excellent with numbers and time management
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions
• Regular, predictable, full attendance required
• Willingness to work the required schedule at the specific location
• Complete Penske employment application, submit to background investigation (including past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening required.

This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, requiring a constant state of alertness and safe conduct. Associates must accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.

• Memorize and understand instructions, guidelines or other information
• Visual and verbal communication skills required; vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Frequently perform tasks that involve moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting; use hands to touch, handle, feel, reach with arms
• Regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
