Receiving Clerk

Pay Rate: $16/hr

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm

Location:

Laredo Texas, Mines Road

What's the Job?

Our client is seeking a highly detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to support the Receiving and Inventory Department. This role involves verifying materials, matching documentation, and performing transactions in SAP and Excel.

This position requires daily Excel work, including entering, validating, and analyzing data using VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform physical verification of all goods received.
  • Match received quantities vs PO quantities vs vendor invoices.
  • Enter, validate, and analyze information in Excel using VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and essential formulas (Daily requirement).
  • Email vendor invoices to the Johnson Controls warehouse team.
  • Generate receiving documents in SAP, document shortages/overages, and report discrepancies/damages.
  • Notify warehouse team of mismatches between PO, shipped, and invoiced quantities.
  • Notify Purchasing team of needed PO modifications.
  • Perform bin-to-bin transactions in SAP.
  • Conduct audits and cycle counts.
  • Provide information for customs invoices to the logistics/customs department.
  • Consolidate documents for cross-border processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control.
  • Register data for logistics performance indicators.
  • Report non-compliant suppliers.
  • Record and update quantities shipped/received/supplied by part number.
What's Needed?
  • Proven experience as a Receiving Clerk or similar role.
  • Excel Intermediate–Advanced REQUIRED — VLOOKUP & Pivot Tables
  • Computer proficiency and accurate data-entry skills.
  • Strong basic math and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Inventory, and/or shipping/receiving is required.
