Job Description
We are immediately hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Ryder team in Laredo, TX.
Location: Laredo, TX
Salary: 55,000 - 59,000 USD per year (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (weekends as needed)
SummaryUnder the responsibility of the Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor supervises, coordinates and oversees day‑to‑day logistics operations while providing coaching, development and training to staff. The successful candidate recommends improvements to facilities, equipment, machinery and processes, ensuring staff performance meets company standards and business objectives.
Essential Functions- Supervise, coordinate and oversee daily logistics operations.
- Plan and review logistics processes in collaboration with the Logistics Manager.
- Establish work schedules, procedures and coordinate activities to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
- Accountable for site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with customers on all aspects of operations.
- Meet regularly with the team (collectively and individually) to monitor progress toward objectives, track performance and coach staff.
- Recognize and celebrate team and individual successes.
- Promote diversity and inclusion and identify opportunities to improve internal processes.
- Conduct performance evaluations and recommend awards and merit increases.
- Address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes.
- Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations.
- Implement health, safety and security initiatives, ensuring compliance with company rules and policies.
- Provide orientation for new employees and equip Lead Hands with necessary information, technology and materials.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or GED required.
- One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
- Direct supervisory or leadership experience of 0 to 1 year required.
- DOT regulated driving status (driver’s license) required.
