Senior Accountant
Clearwater, FL
Salary: $85,000–$95,000

- This role will have direct involvement in financial reporting, analysis, and month‑end close while partnering closely with leadership.
- Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations; support month‑end and year‑end close
- Ensure financial statements are accurate and aligned with GAAP standards
- Handle revenue recognition activities and assist with internal financial reporting
- Review and code corporate credit card transactions to the general ledger
- Review and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements in line with company policy
- Maintain accurate accounting records and support internal control compliance
- Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, efficiencies, and cost‑saving opportunities
- Senior Accountant partners with the Controller on special projects and process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 3–5 years of experience, ideally coming directly from public accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and month‑end close processes
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
- Detail‑driven with strong analytical and communication abilities
- Comfortable with occasional travel
