Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Clearwater, FL
Salary: $60,000 - $68,000

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the general ledger and support month-end/year-end close
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger balances to ensure financial accuracy
- Apply GAAP-compliant revenue recognition in financial statements and reports
- Review and code credit card transactions for proper classification
- Process and approve employee travel and expense reimbursements
- Maintain accurate accounting records and follow internal controls
- Assist with schedules and documentation for audits and internal reviews
- Analyze financial data to support cost control and efficiency initiatives
- Support Controller with ad hoc projects and special assignments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Excel
