The Controller, Rebel Systems, is the senior financial leader for a full P&L entity encompassing sales, engineering, and assembly operations. The role owns accounting, financial planning and analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, cost management, and local internal control execution, while serving as the principal financial partner to the Rebel Systems General Manager and leadership team.

This is a hands-on financial leadership role in a growing business transitioning from a startup environment into the operating and control framework of a publicly traded company. The Controller will establish scalable accounting and FP&A processes, strengthen internal controls, improve financial and operational reporting, and personally execute critical activities while developing the organization’s longer-term capabilities.

The Controller partners closely with PPS Finance and leadership, the PPS Segment Controller, Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, and other corporate functions to ensure Rebel Systems’ accounting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance activities meet business needs and Ener Sys requirements.

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure accurate, timely, complete, and supportable financial results in accordance with U.S. GAAP, Ener Sys policies, and public-company reporting requirements.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity through disciplined reconciliations, appropriate accruals and reserves, clear account ownership, and timely resolution of reconciling items.
• Prepare and review entity financial statements, management reporting, account analyses, and supporting schedules; support quarterly reporting, management certifications, and external audit requests.
