Summary

This administrative position is responsible for assisting the documentation team with data entry projects, compliance paperwork (receiving and processing), contacting physicians' offices regarding patient paperwork, and leadership of the documentation division. This position handles extremely sensitive information, so it is critical to adhere to company policy and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with external resources to complete:
    Call physician's offices to confirm receipt of necessary paperwork. Confirm compliance of all paperwork is complete and accurate—repeat follow up if not complete or accurate. (25%)
  • Own customer satisfaction and manage relationships through excellent customer service techniques during phone conversations (inbound/outbound). (25%)
  • Educate external resources regarding:
    Educating physician's office on urgency and necessity of completed and returned paperwork. Working with reps to educate physician's offices on product opportunities. (25%)
  • Administratively ensuring the following is being completed accurately and on-time against specific timelines:
    • Receive, process, and distribute communications, including a variety of texts, applications, and images.
    • Send and receive documents; organize paper and electronic files; and analyze the efficiency of communication processes.
    • Strictest adherence to company policies when handling materials, especially those that contain confidential information.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma, associate degree preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience within a customer service/office environment.
  • Experience submitting Medicare and Medicaid billing procedures and a good working knowledge of Medicare rules and procedures.
  • Excellent communication/customer relations skills with a strong attention to detail and critical thinking aptitude.
  • Ability to work in a self‑motivating, fast‑paced results‑oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Software, typing and 10‑key.
