EMBROIDERY DESIGN SPECIALIST
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Embroidery Design Specialist for a company based in Largo, FL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine creativity and technical expertise in a fast‑paced production environment, helping transform customer artwork into high‑quality embroidered products for a nationally recognized promotional products company. This position is ideal for detail‑oriented individuals who enjoy graphic design, production artwork, and working with advanced embroidery technology.
PayRate
Depending on experience
Schedule and Hours1st Shift – Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Embroidery Design Specialist Duties and Responsibilities- Transform artwork and customer designs into digital embroidery files for production.
- Review artwork throughout various stages of completion and discuss necessary changes with supervisors and production teams.
- Determine logo sizing, stitch density, underlay settings, and thread color selections for embroidery projects.
- Review push/pull compensation, entry/exit points, lettering, and object placement to ensure high‑quality embroidery results.
- Prepare sequence sheets and digital files for embroidery machine production.
- Process artwork change requests from the production floor in a timely manner.
- Review artwork compatibility and suitability for specific products and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all company safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with production staff to ensure customer specifications and company quality standards are met.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite programs required.
- Ability to successfully complete Wilcom digitizing training provided on‑site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Arts, Design, or a related field preferred.
- Previous digitizing, embroidery, printing, or production artwork experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and design accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a production‑driven environment while meeting deadlines and quotas.
