Overview
Substitute Teacher position for Pinellas County School Board.
Responsibilities- Complete the Active Threat Assessment online prior to accepting an assignment.
- Work a minimum of 4 days per month (2 days on Fridays and Mondays).
- Work hours in the Frontline Absence Management/Aesop System.
- Carry out duties as listed in the Teacher Substitute Job Description.
- Minimum of 60 college credit hours from an accredited college or university.
- Official college transcripts (official copies must be provided; unofficial scans acceptable only for application).
- Professional reference for recent work or volunteer activity within the last year.
- Work/life history for the last 10 years or since high school graduation.
- For former PCS teachers: provide Florida Educator’s Certificate or valid Statement of Eligibility.
- Applicants with prior teaching experience, certification, school counselors, or education majors are prioritized.

- "At Your Own Pace" Online - STEDI Training (for applicants without a teaching background; cost $39.95).
