Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical/Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and validate advanced PCBAs for power electronics and hybrid systems applications. This role demands strong expertise in schematic capture, PCB layout using Altium Designer, and a deep understanding of power systems engineering. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with high-voltage, high-power designs and the ability to take projects from concept through production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Lead the design and development of PCBAs for power electronics applications, including DC-DC converters, motor drives, and hybrid energy systems.

* Utilize Altium Designer to perform schematic capture, multi-layer PCB layout, and prepare complete manufacturing documentation.

* Conduct design simulations and analyses (SPICE, thermal, SI/PI) to ensure electrical, mechanical, and thermal integrity.

* Optimize designs for thermal management, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and manufacturability (DFM).

* Perform hands-on prototype bring-up, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of developed hardware.

* Collaborate closely with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to deliver fully integrated solutions.

* Author clear documentation for designs, test procedures, and compliance certifications

Qualifications

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.

* 8+ years of professional experience designing and testing PCBAs for power electronics applications.

* 5+ years of experience with Altium Designer for schematic capture and complex multi-layer PCB layouts.

* Strong working knowledge of power electronics principles, including switching converters, motor drives, battery management, and hybrid energy systems.

* Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM), and familiarity with fabrication and assembly processes.

* Knowledge of relevant standards such as IPC, UL, CE, and best practices for compliance and testing.

* Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
