Manufacturing Engineer

Location:

Largo, FL (U.S. Citizen, Security Clearance – DoD Secret, active and existing required after day
1).

• Follow established procedures and instructions while working closely with program / functional supervision to ensure overall program and site targets are met.
• Conduct technical and manufacturing data verifications, hardware verification, and safety/ergonomic assessments and implementations.
• Assist in developing work‑cell layouts to optimize product flow and factory floor space utilization.
• Plan for, develop, manage, and document manufacturing tooling and fixtures.
• Employ Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Collaborate with parties within and outside the job function regarding policies, procedures, and practices.

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or an advanced degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with related military and industry standards and specifications.
• Experience with disposition of nonconforming material using root cause and corrective action analysis.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Experience with CAD solid modeling tools.
• Experience with PTC Windchill Product Data.
• Experience with various automation systems.
• Demonstrated hands‑on mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplines.
• Qualified Collins CORE Specialist or equivalent.

• Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
