• Develop test hardware and software from requirements definition through build and integration, then deploy to manufacturing or customer facilities.
• Use expertise in computer architecture, COTS equipment, interconnects/interfaces, and standard communication protocols.
• Provide mechanical engineering support; CAD experience (Cadence/AutoCAD) is desirable.
• Communicate effectively and author technical documentation for multi‑discipline teams; lead Preliminary and Detailed Design Reviews.
• Present work clearly in project status meetings.
• Manage project budget, schedule, and performance commitments.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineering on test adapter and fixturing design;
  AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
• Work autonomously with limited supervision as an individual contributor in a multi‑functional environment.
• Support manufacturing operations via on‑site troubleshooting and debugging.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
• STEM degree with at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years.
• Minimum 5 years experience in engineering design and development, preferably for test equipment.
• Experience transitioning automated solutions from laboratory to production, delivering hardware and software deliverables, and providing on‑site operator training.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Decision‑making and problem‑solving ability in both individual and team settings.
• Experience with National Instruments software (Test Stand, Lab Windows/CVI, LabVIEW).
• Hardware station design with rack instrumentation, PXI/MXI, VME.
• Experience with Digital, RF, and/or Power Supply test hardware/software design.
• Technical‑writing proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio.
• Understanding of engineering processes (CMMI, Six Sigma).

Salary Range: $86,800 - $165,200 USD (based on experience).
