100). Shift: 3rd shift, 11:00PM–6:30AM. This position is onsite and not eligible for relocation.
U.S. citizenship is required. Applicants must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance after day one.
What You Will Do- Perform electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications;
- Read, understand, and accurately follow prints, schematics, sketches, test procedures, and verbal or written instructions;
- Operate environmental test chambers as required to ensure workmanship and product performance;
- Develop test data to resolve performance problems as needed;
- Perform soldering and/or mechanical assembly for electronic tests on incomplete circuits;
- Prepare test reports and document failures, specifying phase of test and required alterations;
- Perform simple mathematics (e.g., power consumption, gain efficiency, signal‑noise ratio) to determine product performance;
- Move material as directed and locate and record discrepancies on various subassemblies using direct‑reading instruments, gauges, meters, and optical or mechanical measuring devices;
- Collect data, prepare, and maintain records in written or electronic media as directed by supervision;
- Store, handle, use, and dispose of hazardous waste chemicals in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and undergo annual retraining;
- Complete pre‑qualification tests or exams when required and keep them current;
- Perform duties as directed by supervisor.
- Minimum of one of the following:
- Completion of a pre‑qualification test or exam;
- Electronic Technology Certificate from an accredited institution;
- AA/AS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or related field;
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Hardware Engineering, or related field;
- Military electronics technical school certification;
- Four years of documented professional or military experience troubleshooting electronic equipment within the last twelve years;
- Four years as an “Electronic Tester” (Job Code:EH0367).
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Prior experience as an Electronic Technician.
