Bay Care Health System is currently searching for our newest Respiratory Care Practitioner who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community at Bay Care Home Care – Extended Care.

The Respiratory Care Practitioner serves patients in their home or contracted facility by providing either clinical respiratory services or equipment management services on a scheduled visit/appointment or through on-call notification.

• Complete day‑to‑day orders called into the Respiratory Therapy Department and follow up on visits for apnea monitor and/or ventilator patients, in compliance with all regulatory agencies.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding set‑up, use, maintenance, and safety of respiratory therapy equipment in the home.
• Perform diagnostic testing on behalf of the physician.
• Communicate with the patient's physician regarding clarification of orders or the patient's response to care.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• RRT (Respiratory Therapy License) or CRT (welcomed for review)
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT
• BLS
• Active Driver's License

• Technical Respiratory Therapy
• Associate's Respiratory Therapy

• Clinical skills appropriate to position
• Computer skills appropriate to position
• Collaborate and work with a team
