We are currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community.
Position Details- Facility:
Bay Care Home Care - Location:
Largo, FL - Status: PRN - as needed, hourly
- Shifts:
Varies- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weekend:
On-call Rotation(s) (approximately every 4–6 weeks) - On Call:

- Pharmacy Technician, under the immediate oversight of the Pharmacist, responsibilities include:
- Perform sterile compounding and ensure compliance with all FDA, DEA, Florida Board of Pharmacy, OSHA and other regulatory and accrediting entities. Follow all company and department policies and procedures.
- Participate in medication management for pharmacy compounding, including medication, supplies, ordering, receiving and equipment maintenance.
- Complete and document all cleaning and monitoring activities identified for areas related to sterile compounding including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning requirements.
- Maintain ongoing didactic and practical training related to sterile compounding provided by the organization.
- Support the mission of the hospital and pharmacy department.
- Efficient, accurate and timely preparation, compounding, labeling, and delivering of pharmaceuticals to assure patient satisfaction.
- Other duties may include special assignments/projects, process validation and competency assessment.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent GED
- Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician License
- Pharmacy Technician license in good standing in the state of Florida
- 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
- Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT)
- Sterile Compounding experience USP
