Bay Care Health System is currently searching for a new Respiratory Care Practitioner passionate about providing outstanding customer service at Bay Care Home Care – Extended Care.

Bay Care Home Care-Extended Care is the premiere provider of contracted services for nursing homes in the communities we serve. The Extended Care team currently contracts Respiratory Therapy programming with 91 nursing homes in 9 counties. As one of the largest providers of home care services in the State of Florida, Bay Care Home Care has provided quality home care to Florida residents since 1976.

• Complete day-to-day orders called into the Respiratory Therapy Department and follow up on visits for apnea monitor and/or ventilator patients, in compliance with all regulatory agencies.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding the setup, use, maintenance and safety of respiratory therapy equipment in the home.
• Perform diagnostic testing on behalf of the physician.
• Communicate with the patient's physician regarding clarification of orders or the patient's response to care, which may be required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• RRT (Respiratory Therapy License) OR CRT welcomed for review
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT
• BLS
• Active Driver's License

• Technical Respiratory Therapy
• Associate's Respiratory Therapy

• Clinical skills appropriate to the position
• Computer skills appropriate to the position
• Collaborate and work with a team
