Job Summary:
Provide diagnostic ultrasound imaging services to patients, assisting physicians in diagnosing and evaluating medical conditions. Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain accurate imaging records.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures with precision and adherence to physician orders.
- Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and maintaining comfort.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper calibration and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with medical staff to interpret and communicate imaging results.
- Maintain detailed documentation of imaging procedures and patient information.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of an approved Ultrasound Tech or Sonographer program.
- ARDMS certification or equivalent credential required.
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare imaging experience.
- Proven ability to operate ultrasound equipment and other diagnostic tools.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
