Phlebtomist-Floater-Largo

Labcorp is a leading global life sciences company dedicated to providing diagnostic testing and drug development solutions. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center and deliver exceptional customer service while performing skilled specimen collections.

Variable Schedule, Monday‑Friday 6:30am‑3:30pm, rotating Saturday.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform accurate, timely data entry of patient information.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist.

• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience.

• Certification or training must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Minimum age 21.
• Reliable transportation required.
