Occupational Therapy Team Leader Role Overview

Lead the occupational therapy team by assisting in daily operations, including scheduling, training, and communication with staff and hospital departments.

Provide direct patient care, building meaningful relationships to support their recovery and celebrate progress.

Utilize specialized skills to deliver compassionate, personalized therapy aligned with patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs.

• Support the Director of Therapy Operations in team management and coordination.
• Deliver patient-centered care, monitoring progress and adjusting treatments as needed.
• Ensure seamless implementation of procedures and treatments.
• Foster a collaborative environment promoting professional growth and team effectiveness.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, certification, and safety standards.

• Current state licensure or certification.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum three years of experience in occupational therapy or leadership, with at least two years of clinical experience.
• CPR certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Professional certifications or therapy-specific ladder eligibility preferred.

• Leadership and interpersonal skills to guide and motivate staff.
