Job Description & How to Apply Below

Pride Staff is partnering with a well-established, fast-paced industrial manufacturing organization in Pinellas County to find an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager. This role is 100% onsite.

If you are a practical, results-oriented HR professional who thrives in a dynamic production environment and prefers a "common-sense" approach to leadership, this high-priority role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact.

Overview of the Role

This is a comprehensive, multi-faceted HR leadership position requiring a professional who enjoys wearing many hats. You will oversee everything from day-to-day employee relations, insurance, and talent acquisition to high-level compliance, annual reporting, and plant safety operations. Salary is going to be based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain fair and compliant HR policies and procedures.
  • Oversee federal, state, and local regulatory reporting, including EEOC tracking and annual agency filings.
  • Manage benefits administration and 401(k) programs, utilizing a strong understanding of commercial insurance systems to lead annual benefits and business insurance negotiations.
  • Direct the facility's safety programs, ensuring strict adherence to OSHA, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and environmental hazard standards.
  • Conduct regular safety tours and maintain all required workplace safety documentation and incident reports.
  • Serve as a grounded, accessible resource to support and advocate for employees at all levels of the organization.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Leader within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Deep knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and commercial insurance/benefits structures.
  • Strong, practical familiarity with plant safety regulations (OSHA, hazard communication, facility compliance).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills with a fair, balanced management style.
  • High proficiency with modern HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with a proven ability to independently manage competing priorities.
