Top Secret, active and transferrable U.S. government issued security clearance (SCI eligibility) must be maintained from day 1.

What You Will Do
  • Work within the Security Engineering domain and as part of the larger enterprise engineering effort, operating on a custom, air‑gapped, Department of Defense IT network daily to perform advanced support and direct deployment of new capabilities at a sustained rate.
  • Demonstrate ability to create and present materials to convey concepts and ideas to a wide range of audiences.
  • Work primarily onsite in a closed area environment with occasional opportunities to work offsite.
  • Demonstrate ability to create, follow and update system documentation, schematics and operational guides and procedures.
  • Demonstrate ability to interface with other teams to help define, determine and implement cyber risk posture, cyber risk mitigation and information assurance throughout the enterprise IT service portfolio at a sustained level.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Solid background in Systems Administration using Linux and Windows desktop and server operating systems (Windows 11/Server 2022/RHEL).
  • Experience with enterprise configuration and patch management using automated tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and WSUS.
  • Understanding of traditional and current on‑prem enterprise IT systems and technologies and their impact on security of , Credential and Access Management (ICAM) for those systems, secure enterprise messaging, enterprise logging ingest, cyber situational awareness, protection, and Endpoint Detection and Response.
  • Active DoD 8570 IAT Level

    II certification (e.g., CISSP and/or Security+).
  • Ability to maintain an active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance with SCI eligibility required prior to start date.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Proficient knowledge of Enterprise Identity Management applications and design including LDAP (Active Directory) and PKI.
  • Experience with various computing hardware and software platforms, including servers, workstations, supporting various COTS software applications.
  • Experience maintaining Windows servers and troubleshooting software applications.
  • Experience with enterprise firewalls, including knowledge of firewall policies/rulesets.

Salary

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
