Injury Claims Examiner

GEICO is seeking an Injury Claims Examiner to investigate, evaluate, and resolve auto injury claims with accuracy and empathy. In this role, you will review medical records, liability facts, and policy coverage, determine claim value, and negotiate fair settlements within authority. You'll communicate frequently with customers, attorneys, and medical providers, documenting every decision clearly. Working in a data-driven, performance-focused environment, you'll use technology and analytics tools to manage caseloads efficiently while upholding regulatory compliance and GEICO's high customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and evaluate auto injury claims for coverage, liability, and damages
• Review medical records, police reports, and supporting documentation
• Determine claim value and negotiate settlements within authority limits
• Communicate with policyholders, claimants, attorneys, and medical providers
• Document claim activity, decisions, and rationale in claims systems
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, policies, and internal procedures
• Collaborate with team members and leaders to resolve complex files
• Use analytics and claims software to manage caseload efficiently
