OR Fully Remote: candidates in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee or Virginia

Requirement: active property & casualty license as 20% of this role will be dedicated to managing a generalist book

If this position is posted as either fully remote and/or hybrid, individuals residing within a 50-mile radius of a branch location may be required to work onsite in a hybrid capacity as there may be occasions when on-site presence is necessary to meet specific business needs. Additionally, our remote work policy includes having a dedicated, distraction-free workspace. Remote work is not a substitute for childcare, elder care, or other personal responsibilities during working hours.

About the Role: As a key leader, you will be responsible for managing the Account Team staff. This includes assigning tasks, overseeing workflows, enhancing staff performance, handling scheduling and human resource management, ensuring compliance with processes, policies, and procedures, and embodying the core values of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and coach Account Management staff while monitoring performance.

  • HR Management: Ensure adherence to HR policies and processes.

  • Performance Monitoring: Guarantee that productivity, efficiency, quality, and service standards are met.

  • Scheduling: Oversee and manage the staff days off calendar for service continuity.

  • Staffing Levels: Evaluate staffing adequacy and propose necessary adjustments.

  • Employee Selection: Engage in interviewing and making hiring recommendations.

  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct and present performance reviews.

  • Coaching and Development: Facilitate coaching, training, and continual consultation.

  • Professional Development: Promote growth and advancement of staff members.

  • Succession Planning: Identify and develop future branch operations leaders.

  • Culture Promotion: Advocate for improvement of engagement and embody the company culture.

  • Performance Gaps: Detect performance gaps and initiate corrective measures.

  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze performance data.

  • Communication: Ensure open communication channels with leadership.

  • Process Improvement: Create and ensure adherence to core work processes.

  • Policy Enforcement: Implement and uphold company policies.

  • Technical Competence: Maintain strong technical skills and industry knowledge.

  • Leadership Development: Commit to continual enhancement of management and leadership capabilities.

  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with leadership, employees, and peers.

  • Champion Company Values: Exhibit integrity and demonstrate leadership.

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industry experience with extensive knowledge; 3+ years in a leadership role.

  • Possess active property & casualty licenses; CISR or CIC designation or equivalent is preferred.

  • Excellent communication and personnel management skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.

Salary Range: The expected salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year, based on experience, relevant skills, and geographic location.
