Operations Program Manager (OPM) – Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC)
Position Type:
Onsite – U.S. citizen or U.S. person required. A U.S. government issued security clearance (DoD Secret) must be obtained within one year of the start date and maintained thereafter.
- Oversee all operational aspects of assigned programs, including manufacturing plans, cost reduction initiatives, and program performance.
- Lead full life‑cycle execution from bid/proposal through design, transition, production, and sustainment.
- Manage program planning, capacity analysis, schedule control, and resource allocation.
- Direct process improvement initiatives and coordinate material management activities with supply chain.
- Monitor and control budget: develop, analyze, and present Estimate at Complete (EAC), utilize Earned Value Management (EVM), and manage risk and opportunity.
- Interface with internal and external customers during Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Gates, EACs, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and customer visits/tours.
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in operations, manufacturing, program management, or a cross‑functional environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing, data analytics tools (e.g., PRISM, Apex, CMES, Kinaxis, Power Bi) and documentation systems.
- Experience with Estimate at Complete, variance analysis, and risk/opportunity management.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools for large data sets.
- Defense industry experience.
- Familiarity with supply chain management and configuration management databases.
- Knowledge of Common PDM, EACs, and change history validation.
- Experience with lifetime income strategy and advanced financial planning.
