- 2 – 3 years of quality inspection experience, ideally in marine or manufacturing environments
- Working knowledge of boat assembly drawings, blueprints, BOMs, schematics, and inspection tools
- Proficient with calipers, micrometers, gauges
- Familiarity with PC-based reporting and data systems (ERP, Excel, etc.)
- Experience inspecting mechanical and electrical assemblies
- Strong communication skills across departments and with external suppliers
- Background in the marine industry, particularly yacht or vessel assembly
- Experience with ABYC or ISO 9001 standards in marine environments
- Knowledge of composite materials, gelcoat finishing, or vacuum-infused parts
Physical Requirements
- Work performed in indoor inspection areas, boatyards, and machine shop environments
- May involve frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and exposure to marine-grade chemicals and adhesives
