Position Overview
Senior Supervisor, Site Trainer
Location:
Largo, FL, USA Position Type:
Onsite

- Develop a flexible and cross‑trained workforce.
- Execute MRP, maintain Takt time, meet daily goals, and identify POEM issues.
- Manage Tiered Accountability (Levels1 &2) and Total Employee Engagement (TEE) initiatives.
- Monitor safety performance and ensure proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and resources.
- Facilitate training across the factory for operations, including solder and cable J‑STD and IPC requirements.
- Coordinate training room assets, calibrated equipment, and computer lab assets.
- Coordinate PTO and overtime in compliance with policy, law, and the collective bargaining agreement.
- Meet schedule commitments (order entry through delivery) while maintaining team motivation.
- Implement corrective actions, discipline, rewards, and recognitions consistently with policy and collective bargaining agreement.
- Ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees, applying company policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreement.
- Promote Diversity and Wellness programs.
- Account for team cost performance and support business initiatives such as Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing.
- Approve labor charging, correct inaccuracies, and monitor employee attendance.
- Identify opportunities to develop employee skills and coordinate with appropriate functions.
- Lead daily IPT meetings and participate in department meetings.
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, and support personnel.
- Understand and communicate Quality/Cost/Schedule metrics.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area, securing classified documents, hardware, and software, and ensure proper clearance and badge display for employees, customers, and visitors.
- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in a related field, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of manufacturing experience in a related environment.
- Experience analyzing data such as cycle time, efficiency, capacity, and utilization.
- U.S. citizenship required and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
- IPC‑610 and/or J‑STD certifications.
- Proven ability to build teams, coach, and facilitate diverse groups of employees.
- Commitment to process improvement and support of business initiatives (Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing).
