Senior Systems Engineer responsible for the decomposition and design of complex training device features and interfaces for the Integrated Platforms (IP) team. Works in a fast‑paced, agile environment, collaborating closely with software and hardware engineers to build and test advanced mission capabilities and features.

• Lead full lifecycle solution development from CONOPS to Validation, collaborating with the customer.
• Define lab activities including setup, configuration management, and testing.
• Define modeling, hardware, and software interfaces.
• Coach and review work of lower-level professionals.
• Manage preparation and execution of design reviews, integration, dry run, and formal qualification testing.
• Work independently to solve difficult and complex problems.
• Analyze system behaviors, conduct system trade studies, perform requirements analysis, and allocate to subsystems.

• Education:
  
  STEM degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience, or 9 years relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance required prior to start date.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance with SCI caveat.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Extensive experience with Dev Ops pipelines in Linux and Windows environments.
• Practical experience with Ansible/YAML.
• Experience writing and maintaining scripts.
• Experience with networked environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 % per year and flexibility for short‑notice travel.

• Experience with Survivable Mobile Command Center architectures and operations.
• Experience working on fielded systems.
• Experience supporting software and hardware development.
• Experience with Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3).
• Experience with computer networking for ground‑based, ship, submarine, or airborne platforms.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI caveat.
