Compounding Operator

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compounding Operator to join their team. As a Compounding Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location:

Largo, FL

Pay Range: $18.61

Shift: Days, Nights (06:00-14:30)

What's the Job?

  • Make batches of resins using detailed formulations and mix sheets, including pre-blending of materials.
  • Accurately fill ribbon blender/drum tumbler with ingredients and amounts indicated on pre-blend formulation sheets.
  • Perform start-up, shutdown, and maintenance of 40mm and 60mm compo under lines, and Water System.
  • Weigh, package, and label finished products according to work order specifications.
  • Inspect products for visual defects and initiate corrective actions as needed.

What's Needed?

  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds with proper techniques.
  • Willingness to follow safety rules and wear protective equipment.
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and shifts.
  • Ability to work in a loud environment with varying temperatures and exposure to dust, fumes, and chemicals.
