We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily clinical operations at Aviata Health Group's facility in Largo, Florida. The ADON plays a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff development.

Position SummaryThe Assistant Director of Nursing, RN (ADON) will assist the Director of Nursing in managing nursing staff and clinical operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and monitoring and improving quality of care and patient outcomes. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as knowledge of regulatory standards and healthcare compliance.
Responsibilities- Assist the Director of Nursing in managing nursing staff and clinical operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Monitor and improve quality of care and patient outcomes
Support staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations - Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions as needed
- Help maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and healthcare compliance
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

- Competitive salary range: $90,000 – $98,000 per year (based on experience and location)
