Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Shift: 5:30 AM - 7:00 PM. Expect to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse will provide patient care in the Psych/Rehab department, treating all patients with compassion and professionalism. This role involves working in a float unit, adapting to various patient needs and unit requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the psych/rehab unit.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Educate patients and their families on care plans and health management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license in the state of Florida.
- Previous experience in psych or rehabilitation nursing preferred.
- BLS certification required.
