Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
07:00 - 18:30, every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Job Description:
The Registered Nurse will operate within the psych/rehab department, functioning as a float unit. The role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring compliance with facility policies and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.
- Assist in the management of patient care and treatment plans.
- Document patient assessments, nursing interventions, and outcomes.
- Monitor and assess patient health status and report changes.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license.
- Previous experience in a psychiatric or rehabilitation unit preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
