Your Experience & Skills- Veterinary technician licensure preferred
- 3–4 years of emergency experience required
- 1–2 years of leadership experience required
- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an AVMA‑accredited veterinary technology program preferred; or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities- Lead a team of emergency technicians
- Develop and mentor technicians in emergency medicine skills and patient care
- Manage a working schedule to meet the needs of a 24/7 facility
- Manage workflow from triage to hospitalization
- Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients
- Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow in an emergency setting
- Assist with and facilitate emergency surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians
- Communicate with clients regarding patient care and status
- Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with the support of practice systems

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with salary starting at $65,000
