Job Summary:

We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic team! The QC Laboratory Assistant will be assisting in many tasks that encompass purchasing and storage of chemicals, reagents, standards, materials, samples and stationary supplies, reviewing lab documentation, writing protocols, reports and specifications for SOPs and STMs, scheduling stability testing, and preparing specification and standard testing methods.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow supervisor's instructions on laboratory SOPs.
  • Interact with chemical suppliers to coordinate purchases and identify potential suppliers.
  • Ordering and receiving of laboratory chemicals and standards.
  • Maintain the stock of chemicals, reagents, and standard consumable per laboratory requirements.
  • Receiving and organizing test samples in laboratory.
  • Assist in Change control requests.
  • Assist supervisors in preparation of specification, standard testing methods and method validation protocols documentation.
  • Assist in reviewing laboratory documentation, notifies supervisor of Out-of-Specification (OOS) / Out-of-Trend (OOT) test results.
  • Prepare and send samples for outside testing.
  • Equipment calibration coordination in the lab.
  • Follows safety rules.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of FDA and ICH guidelines.
  • Knowledge of advance techniques in the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry.
  • Strong computer skills especially in Microsoft (MS) Office.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership.
  • Sound understanding of Drug Master Files (including method validation and impurity profiles).
